Biogenic Emissions for the State of Texas

Biogenic emissions have been estimated at a 1-km resolution for the entire state. The emissions estimates are based on detailed ground surveys of species distributions and leaf biomass densities that have been conducted throughout the eastern half of Texas. These two maps show forest density data and oak densities for the state and adjoining areas. Click on any thumbnail below to see a full-sized representation of that map.
